News Legislative override passes! Probation Dept. jobs saved!
OPEIU Local 6 News Flash November 19, 2009
We are pleased to report that the Legislature has voted to override the Governor’s veto and has restored the $4.1 million to the Probation Department. This successful Legislative action has prevented the impending layoffs of our fellow Local 6 members. OPEIU Local 6 remains committed to saving all our members’ jobs.
