Chief Justice to Offer
Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program
The Chief Justice for Administration and Management (CJAM) announced today that he is offering a voluntary retirement incentive program.
The program is open to all employees currently contributing either 5% or 7% to the retirement system. Those employees have retirement service dates prior to December 31, 1983.
The program offers a one-time cash incentive of $7,500 to employees who currently contribute 5% and $5,000 for employees contributing 7%. These one-time pay-outs are in addition to vacation and sick leave buy-outs and are taxable.
Employees must sign up by May 29 and be approved by the CJAM. The program will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Employees must agree to retire no later than June 30, 2009. Please check the Trial Court’s Intranet page for complete details.
